In early March against the background of the U.S. decision to suspend its obligations under the Treaty on intermediate-range and shorter-range Poroshenko said that Ukraine reserves the right to create modern and effective weapons for self-defense.
Remember, the US Secretary of state Mike Pompeo announced the termination of U.S. participation in the Treaty on the elimination of intermediate range (the INF Treaty), since February 2 was the deadline of the ultimatum that the United States presented Russia on 4 December 2018.
