The OSCE representative Sidik notes the lack of progress at the talks in Minsk to resolve the conflict in the Donbass

"Yesterday was four years from the date of signing of a package of measures to implement the Minsk agreements. This document is a basic component of the Minsk agreements and guides our current work. Unfortunately, to approach the solution of the conflict still failed," said Martin Sajdik reporters following the meeting of the TKG on Wednesday in Minsk, reports mediaUA, citing Interfax-Ukraine.

According to the special representative, this position was voiced yesterday at a meeting of the UN security Council, which was convened at the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the signing of a package of measures.

As noted by Martin Sajdik, the meeting demonstrated the great concern of the world community to the events in the East of Ukraine. At the same time, he added, highlighted the humanitarian aspect of the conflict and the need to ensure the safety of the civilian population.
