"I think, fundamentally, in a few years we will be able to see the first successes, but that does not mean that we wait two years," he said, noting that healthcare in Ukraine is so far advanced that in order to feel the results of reforms will take several years.
He said that this year in Ukraine will be opened 13 cardiac centers and the following. "We will expand the list of free drugs, that is, we show that in fact the situation is changing", - said the Prime Minister.

In particular, this law provides for the introduction of the basic principle of medical reform - "money follow the patient", which provides that the medical institution will receive payments for providing patients with medical services directly from the state budget, without intermediaries.
Also, the law regulates issue of financing of medicine from the state and local budgets: from the state will be paid by the medical services that are included in the program of medical guarantees, local - support and development of public institutions, the implementation of local programs for the provision of medical services beyond the state guaranteed package, utilities & energy utilities health care institutions.
In addition, the law envisages the abolition of health grants, beginning January 1, 2020.
