Ukraine must immediately turn to the guarantor countries of the Budapest Memorandum, - Tymoshenko on the situation in the Azov sea

For the first time, not hiding behind the "green men", "volunteers" and "separatists" Russia has openly decided to start fighting – shooting at Ukrainians. About this in Facebook wrote the head of the "Batkivshchyna" Yulia Tymoshenko, reports mediaUA.

"There is information about wounded Ukrainian. Command of naval forces says that Russia conducts aim fire on defeat", – the politician concerned.

Tymoshenko, in this situation, the authorities should immediately convene the national security Council, and to officially inform the countries of the world and collective bodies about the facts of armed aggression.

"Immediately send official communications to the guarantor countries under the Budapest Memorandum and to convene consultations at the level of heads of state. This is the case when the provisions of the Memorandum blatant and obviously broken and needs to be applied to the mechanism of negotiations laid down in the agreement," – said the politician.

The leader of "Batkivshchyna" also calls to hold an extraordinary session of the Verkhovna Rada, where behind closed doors to discuss the strategy and tactics of counteraction to the aggressor and without delay to inform citizens about what is happening.

"The nation must be rallied against the enemy. I hope all our sailors, captured by the Russians, will return alive and healthy. Keep my fingers crossed," wrote Yulia Tymoshenko.
