As reported mediaUA with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure, he stated during his working trip to the Mykolaiv region. It is noted that the previous inspection of the Minister of infrastructure of railway station in Nikolaev took place in July 2017.
"I'm frankly dissatisfied with the condition of the station in Nikolaev. For almost the entire past year of positive changes. I am extremely dissatisfied that the Minister needs to make two trips to the station, twice "enjoy" his condition. All these explanations from the category "we have not been able to put in order" – this is unacceptable! I want to warn the leadership of "Ukrzaliznytsia", we inspect all the stations in the Ukraine and then go to the leaders of "Ukrzaliznytsia" home and see how they live and compare how it relates to those conditions in which there are people at the station. I think they house more order and quite another state of the toilets," said the official.

Omeljan recalled that "Ukrzaliznytsya" will have 26 billion hryvnias of capital investments.
"One of the projects just might become a repair station in Nikolaev. But it must be the joint work of Railways, city management and the head of the station. The station is the face of the city, Nikolaev has long required a modern facility that will meet the spirit of the city and to have optimal functional load," - said the Minister.
According to him, due to the fact that we managed to overcome corruption in the distribution of the car fleet of "Ukrzaliznytsia", the company accumulates monthly additional UAH 300 million that year, more than 3.5 billion UAH.
"We have agreed that these funds will be spent on the infrastructure - track, stations. Therefore, funding this year will be," added Omeljan.
