In the city centre, on Cathedral square today, several dozen supporters of the left forces, mostly pensioners, gathered at the fountain with placards: "Stop the tariff genocide" and "a Decent salary and a pension to every citizen".
The participants also launched its traditional symbols - the red flags. In their speeches, the protesters sharply criticized the current government.
The meeting was attended by supporters IN "Freedom" and representatives of the party "national body".
The nationalists chanted: "Shame!" reminded the meeting that the Communist symbols is prohibited in Ukraine and shouted slogans: "Bandera, Shukhevych - Heroes of Ukraine!". Pensioners and nationalists sharply expressed to the each other, but the collision did not happen. Law and order during the action was provided by the police.
