The Polish foreign Ministry also pointed out placed on a memorial plaque with the inscription: "Heroes of Carpathian Ukraine, shot the Polish and Hungarian occupation in March 1939".
"Poland never occupied Ukraine. Some of the current territory of the Ukrainian state was part of the Republic of Poland on the basis of international law.
